About
The River Newspaper is a broadsheet and online publication covering South West London, run by students at Kingston University London. As part of our final assessment, instructors assign final year students different editorial roles for two issues, based on what they consider the students' strengths. I was assigned Entertainment Editor, and was responsible for designing and producing the Entertainment section, both print and online. I delegated work, wrote articles, conducted interviews and designed the pages using InDesign and Photoshop.
I was also the first Entertainment Editor to feature a full page of video game-related content.
During my last year I also wrote other articles for the paper, including news stories, reviews and a popular Christmas op-red, which can be seen in the gallery above.
